Add Ping to Your Phone Home Screen

You can add Ping’s web app to your phone’s Home Screen so it works like an app. This makes it faster to open Ping and quickly start an in-person meeting.

This setup does not install a native app. It creates a Home Screen shortcut that opens Ping in your browser.

Add Ping on an iPhone

You can save Ping to your iPhone Home Screen for one-tap access.

Follow these steps:

1. Open your preferred web browser on your iPhone.

2. Go to the Ping web app.

3. Open the browser’s Share or Actions menu.

4. Scroll through the options and tap Add to Home Screen.

5. Edit the name if you want, then tap Add.

Once added, Ping will appear as an icon on your Home Screen. Tapping it opens Ping directly.

If you do not see Add to Home Screen, scroll to the bottom of the menu, tap Edit Actions, and enable Add to Home Screen.

Add Ping on an Android Phone

You can create a Home Screen shortcut for Ping on Android devices.

Follow these steps:

1. Open your preferred web browser on your Android phone.

2. Go to the Ping web app.

3. Open the browser’s menu.

4. Tap Add to Home Screen or Add shortcut.

5. Rename the shortcut if prompted, then tap Add.

The Ping icon will now appear on your Home Screen for quick access.

Good to Know

• The Ping icon only appears on the device where you add it.

• This shortcut opens Ping in your browser, even though it looks like an app.

• You can remove the shortcut at any time just like any other Home Screen app.

If you have trouble adding Ping to your Home Screen, make sure your browser is up to date and that Home Screen shortcuts are enabled in your device settings.
