How to Add Ping to Your Phone Calls
Ping lets you capture and record phone calls so you never have to worry about taking notes manually. You can add Ping to a call whether you’re starting fresh or already speaking with a client.
Add Ping Before You Start a Call
Use this option if you’re not yet on the phone with your client.
Follow these steps:
From the Home page, click Join meeting in the left sidebar.
Select the Phone call option.
Enter your phone number.
Click Call and wait for Ping to call you.
Once connected, add or merge in your client.
Ping will record the call automatically so the entire conversation is captured.
Add Ping to an Existing Call
If you’re already on a call with a client, you can still bring Ping into the conversation.
Follow these steps:
While on your call, go to Ping and click Join meeting.
Choose the Phone call option.
Enter your phone number and click Call.
When Ping calls you, place your current call on Hold and Accept the Ping call.
Merge the two calls together.
You’ll hear a message letting you know the call is being recorded. From there, you can continue the conversation as normal.
What Happens After the Call
Once the call ends, Ping automatically saves it to your account.
After the call:
The phone call appears on your Home page with the date.
You can add participants by typing in their email address.
The call is linked to the correct contact and contributes to their client memory.
This ensures all important details from your phone conversations are captured and easy to reference later.
Why Use Ping for Phone Calls
Adding Ping to your phone calls helps you:
Capture the full conversation automatically.
Avoid manual note-taking.
Keep client memories accurate and up to date.
Review and reference calls anytime from your dashboard.
