Availability may depend on your Ping plan, role, integrations, or beta access.

Ask Ping can create a real proposal draft in a connected Anchor or Ignition account. The proposal is created in the billing system for your team to review. A client can accept it only after your firm completes and sends it through that provider.

This workflow is different from generating a proposal brief or PowerPoint deck. Those actions create files in Ping Library. Anchor and Ignition actions write a draft to an external system.

Before you start

  • Connect the firm's Anchor or Ignition account to Ping.
  • Confirm the client exists in the connected billing system.
  • Know which saved template or catalog services the proposal should use.
  • Provide any price, term, or start date that must differ from the provider's configured default.

The client does not need to exist as a Ping client. The client must be identifiable in Anchor or Ignition.

For connection setup, see How to Set Up Your Anchor Integration or Connect Ignition and Sync Services & Agreements.

Create an Anchor proposal

  1. Open Ask Ping.
  2. Ask Ping to create an Anchor proposal for the client.
  3. Select the real Anchor client and the appropriate template.
  4. Choose the services the client is buying.
  5. Provide exact price or term changes, if any.
  6. Review the confirmation card.
  7. Approve the action.

Anchor templates can use either:

  • A flat set of service lines.
  • Multiple package options, such as good, better, and best.

Ping uses the template's actual structure. It does not combine the two shapes or create new package options.

Create an Ignition proposal

  1. Ask Ping to create an Ignition proposal for the client.
  2. Select the real Ignition client.
  3. Choose one of these approaches:
  • Select services from the firm's Ignition service library.
  • Use a saved Ignition template exactly as configured.
  1. Provide exact price or term changes when the selected service flow allows them.
  2. Review the confirmation card.
  3. Approve the action.

When you use a saved Ignition template exactly as configured, the template owns the service lines. Ask Ping cannot change or preview those lines in chat.

What Ping does not invent

Ask Ping does not invent:

  • Services.
  • Prices.
  • Payment terms.
  • Contract length.
  • Start dates.
  • Client-facing service descriptions or introductory copy.

When you omit a commercial value, the provider's catalog or template value remains in place.

Anchor or Ignition owns the wording the client sees. Edit provider-controlled descriptions, introductions, and next steps in the billing system.

Missing clients

If the client is missing from the billing system, Ping may offer to create the provider client first. Review and approve the exact client record before creation.

When that option is unavailable, add the client in Anchor or Ignition, then return to Ask Ping and run the proposal request again.

Review the result

After creation, open the proposal in Anchor or Ignition. Confirm:

  • Client and contact.
  • Template or package.
  • Service lines.
  • Prices and cadence.
  • Payment terms.
  • Start date.
  • Client-facing wording.

If Ping reports that a draft was created but needs finishing, complete it in the provider. Do not repeat the same creation request, because a second request can create a duplicate draft.
