Saved views let you save a filtered version of the Clients table and return to it later with one click. They are useful when you regularly look at the same group of clients, such as clients assigned to a specific person, clients not linked to a practice management tool, clients missing contacts, or clients with recent interaction.
What a client view saves
A client view saves the current table state for the Clients page, including:
- Search text.
- Assignment filter.
- Practice management link status.
- Last interaction filter.
- The Missing Contacts view, when selected.
- The current client table sort.
Saved views do not change client records, contact links, client assignments, or column layout. They only give you a shortcut back to the way you were viewing the Clients table.
How to save a client view
- Open the Clients page.
- Choose the filters, search, system view, and sort you want to reuse.
- Click Manage views above the table.
- Choose Create new view.
- Enter a clear name, such as Missing contacts or Unlinked clients.
- Click Create.
The new view appears as a button next to Manage views and becomes active right away.
How to switch between client views
Each saved client view appears as a button above the Clients table. Click a view name to apply its saved table state. The active view stays highlighted so you can tell which set of client filters is currently applied.
You can still adjust filters after applying a view. If you want to keep the changes, update the view.
How to update or rename a client view
- Click the saved view you want to change.
- Adjust the Clients table filters, search, or sort as needed.
- Click Manage views.
- Choose Update current view.
- Rename the view if needed.
- Click Update.
Updating replaces the saved table state for that view with your current Clients table state.
How to delete a client view
- Click the saved view you want to remove.
- Click Manage views.
- Choose the delete option for that view.
- Confirm by clicking Delete view.
Deleting a view only removes the shortcut. It does not delete clients, contacts, client assignments, notes, or any client history.
Good to know
- Client views are separate from Meeting and Action Item views.
- Views are private to you. Teammates do not see or inherit the views you create.
- View names must be unique on the Clients page and can be up to 80 characters.
