Integrations connect Ping to the tools your team already uses. Each integration has its own scope, so connected apps may behave differently.
Connected does not always mean synced
Connecting an integration gives Ping permission to work with that app. It does not always move data right away.
Some integrations wait for you to start an import. Some sync only after a meeting is processed. Some need a client match or a per-client setting before notes or tasks can be sent.
Most integrations have their own help article with setup steps, supported features, and notes about what does or does not sync. Use this article as a general overview, then check the article for the specific integration when you need exact details.
Common integration types
Ping integrations usually fall into one of these groups:
- Meeting notes: sends Ping meeting notes to another app.
- Action items: sends tasks from Ping to another app.
- Client import: brings clients and contacts into Ping.
- Data import: brings past meetings or transcripts into Ping.
- Client agreements: brings service and agreement data into Revenue Intelligence.
- Phone and call recording: turns recorded calls into Ping meetings when the phone system is set up correctly.
- Notifications: sends selected Ping activity into another tool.
Examples
Project and task tools may support action item sync, meeting note sync, or both. Client and CRM tools may support client import, meeting note sync, or action item sync depending on the provider. Call tools such as RingCentral, OpenPhone, or Dialpad depend on recording and transcription settings in the phone system.
Anchor and Ignition are used for service and agreement data in Revenue Intelligence.
What integrations do not do
- They do not always backfill old data automatically.
- They do not sync every field from the other app.
- They do not fix missing client matches on their own.
- They do not send meeting notes before the meeting has processed.
- They do not work if the connected account loses access or the app requires admin approval.
What to check first
If an integration is connected but nothing is moving, check the individual help article for that integration. Then confirm whether the feature needs a manual import, a completed meeting, a matched client, an auto-sync setting, or admin approval.
Request an integration
We always accept integration requests by email at [email protected].
Please include your use case as specifically as you can. For example, tell us what app you use, what data you want Ping to send or receive, when that should happen, and what your team would do with it.
That detail helps us understand not just which app to add, but how the integration should actually work if we build it.
