How to Connect Your Calendar and Email to Ping
Connecting your calendar and email to Ping helps the assistant work smarter for you. Once connected, Ping can automatically send meeting notes and build client memory from your email conversations.
Before you begin
Make sure you have access to the calendar and email account you want to connect, and that you’re logged in or know your login details.
Connect your calendar
Follow these steps:
Click Settings in the bottom-left corner of the app.
On the Settings page, find the calendar section and click Connect.
Choose your provider (Gmail or Microsoft).
Sign in to your account when prompted.
When asked for permissions, select Allow all.
Wait a moment while Ping finishes connecting. You’ll be redirected back automatically.
Once this is complete, Ping can access your calendar events and automatically send meeting notes after your meetings.
Connect your email
After your calendar is connected, you can connect your email the same way.
Follow these steps:
In Settings, find the email integration section.
Click Connect.
Log in to your email account.
Grant the requested permissions.
After your email is connected, Ping can start building client memory based on your email interactions.
What happens after you connect
When both integrations are set up:
Ping uses your calendar events to send meeting notes automatically.
Ping analyzes email interactions to build and update client memory.
If you run into any issues during setup, double-check that you approved all requested permissions during the connection process.
